Bob Ayres (born circa 1954 as Robert Stephen Ayres) is an American voice actor and singer who plays the role of Grandpa Frog and the narration for a few LeapPad books.

His best known credits include past stints as national radio spokesperson for Albertson's Supermarkets and their east coast Acme Supermarket chain and narrations for major corporations including Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, The Gap, SBC/PacBell, and FujiFilm.

Bob has also provided a wide range of character and narrative voiceovers for third largest toymaker LeapFrog Enterprises located in Emeryville, California. His five year relationship with LeapFrog saw him originally cast as the voice of Leap's grandpa where he shared voice credits with narrator Whoopi Goldberg in the original series of LeapPad talking books. He went on to create scores of other character voices as well as narrations for other LeapFrog projects and for LeapFrog collaborations with such well known children's book creators as Richard Scarry, Dr. Seuss, Arthur, and Bob the Builder animations; he also performed the narrator role for a Walt Disney/LeapFrog book collaboration titled Disney Princess Stories for all young girls.

He is the also narrator of LeapFrog's IQuest handheld for middle schoolers for which he recorded over 100,000 lines of narration over a ten month period.

A classically trained singer, Bob also sings jazz. In the voiceover arena he has performed the singing voices in multimedia projects for millions of characters, even the imitation of Elvis.
