- McDonalds had a version of this, and Pet Pals they gave in Happy Meals which came on a CD instead of a typical cartridge, and was made playable on Windows and Mac systems
- Pet Pals did the same thing
- The game's digital demo had the early title "Dragons to the Rescue".
- Some pages on LeapFrog's UK site mentioned the game as "Dragon Kingdom and Creativity Castle"[1]
- Qianqian Liu had worked on some graphics of the game such as UI design, evil cloud animations on the intro, and in-game character animations.[2]
- Same artist did some animations for some cutscenes in SpongeBob SquarePants: Through the Wormhole.
- A test cutscene hidden in the game's files has an animation of Godzilla walking into frame, then leaving. This is accompanied with text saying "Non-Interactive Sequence 5". It can be found in the downloadable UK demo
- A very similar scene for a placeholder title screen can be seen in the McDonald's release as "title.swf" with text saying "Dragon Title Screen".
- The character Opera Rooster makes a cameo appearance as a stamp.
- Both the boss, and tally music share the same general melody, and instruments.
- In "title.swf" of the McDonald's release at the bottom of the script to the first frame, a few text strings can be found, these say
